Chinese Elm Ulmus parvifolia

Ulmus parvifolia (Catlin Chinese Elm) These are very stout little trees perfect for shohin or mame bonsai cultivation. This is a sub tropical species at the northern limits of its range it is semi deciduous and in the south it is fully evergreen. They can withstand short periods inside for display. They do need protection in northern climates.
